Registration FAQ


Q : How do I manage my account online?

For your convenience, The Meredith Gravely School of Dance offers our dance families an online account management software system. Families are able to login to their account to register for classes, view and print their schedules, sign documents, track their absences, use a credit card or bank account information to enroll in auto-pay, make payments, and more! Visit our website and click Parent Portal to manage your account. 

Q : How do I register for classes online?

RETURNING STUDENTSIf your student participated in our 2021-2022 dance season, you will click on CREATE ACCOUNT and type in your email address. Once you have typed in your email address, the system will alert you : “It looks like we already have an account for you! Please click here to reset your password if you have forgotten it, or click here to login.”

You will click to reset your password. A new password will be sent to your email address. You may then return to the Parent Portal and sign in using your email address and new password.

NEW OR FORMER STUDENTS – If you are new to our studio, or a new student that did not dance in our 2021-2022 Season, you will need to click CREATE ACCOUNT and fill out the forms online to register.


Q : When will I receive my class schedule?

Class schedules will be posted in your Parent Portal in mid-August. You will receive an email letting you know that the schedule has been posted to your portal. This will give you the time, location, and teacher for your class. 

Q : How much is tuition per class? 

Tuition is $288 per class for the entire season ($36 per month September – April). Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. You will receive an online statement to your Parent Portal and Email the 1st of each month. Monthly tuition is $36 per class.

Q : What are my payment options?

Tuition can be paid using a credit card, debit card, or bank account using the Parent Portal. When using this service, a 2.75% fee will be charged when using a credit or debit card. A 0.80% fee will be charged when using a bank account withdrawal. Monthly tuition payments can be paid using cash, check, or money order to avoid any additional fees. You may also enroll in auto-pay in the Parent Portal. Please note that auto-pay will add the same 2.75% fee when using a credit or debit card and a 0.80% fee when using a bank account withdrawal. 

Registration Fees MUST be paid in the Parent Portal using a credit card, debit card, or bank account.

Q : What is the Registration deadline?

In order to accommodate our former students and to assure your child’s place in the classes of their choice, it is necessary to register by July 5, 2022. After July 5th, we will begin placing students in classes. This will include new students that have registered. All registrations after July 5th are on a first come, first served basis. 

Q : When are Beginner Pointe Auditions? If your child is interested in registering for Beginner Pointe, please go ahead and register for this class through the parent portal. Please contact Anne Moore ( to schedule an appointment for evaluation of your child. Appointments are available on July 27th and August 3rd. If you registered for this class and your child is not found eligible, the registration fee will be transferred to your account for tuition payments.
